Its been a while…
I am not sure how to actually start this one. Like that feeling that you are long over due for some kind of inspection but you are twenty minutes late for the meeting because you were obsessing over getting all of the details right.

Cool but where have you been?
Put simply we have been doing a lot of work in the background. The SIEM has gone back to CSI Linux’s control on the premise of SSG focusing on Navi and making her the best she can be.Navi Updates
There is a lot to cover here. So this post will include a little list of the most significant changes to Navi since the Dissident release.- Chat execution has been overhauled to be more accurate
- While still not without fault it is a work in progress.
- Local First Focus
- More secure
- Users have agency over local and remote
- Banners indicating which navi source you are using.
- Chips System has been redesigned to be more developer friendly.
- Including breakouts of chip folders meaning more structure
- Template has been edited and updated to meet the current state of the Navi method set.
- Documentation has been updated
- Chip Creator is now built into the system itself.
- CLI memory
- We now have a memory system built into the Navi CLI allowing Navi to actually have fluent contextual conversations about you are working on as opposed to forgetting as soon as it replies.
- CLI Memory tools
- Allow the operator to list, create, remove, set and default memory files similar to a save system in video games.
- RAG System v0.1
- Navi now has the ability to learn from documents (PDF right now. More later)
- Using RAG we are able to get Navi to learn fine tuned contextual things.
- Cross Platform Support (WIP)
- We have the ability to run Navi on windows, mac and linux
- She is only really installable on linux as of the time of writing.
So what is next? (Navi v1.0.0 When?)
There is a lot of work still to be done but we are moving toward having Navi v1.0.0 shipped by the end of Q2 this year. At which point the fun begins.- Full integration into CSI Linux (System level)
- Full crossplatform support
- Personality shards
- Expanded RAG settings
- Navi Model Chooser
- Maybe a builder
Conclusion
Yeah we have been hard at work bringing a system we are very proud of. In retrospect when I started the Navi project it started out as a simple “Chatbot / Launcher” for SSG’s tools. However it has become so much more. Its become the culmination of everything we have built and worked on. As the showrunners like to say. The best is yet to come. Keep your eyes peeled for new goodies on the horizon. If you like what we are doing:
